This AQUACEL Ag Self-Adhesive Square Foam dressing is engineered for advanced wound care management. It combines the benefits of a soft, highly absorbent foam with the sustained antimicrobial properties of ionic silver (Ag+). It is suitable for managing wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and surgical wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. The self-adhesive feature simplifies application and retention, reducing the need for secondary fixation. Upon contact with wound exudate, the dressing forms a gel that maintains an optimal moist wound healing environment. This gel also locks away bacteria and exudate, minimizing the risk of maceration and strike-through.
